Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (king of Poland; 1506–1548). Silver coin (half-grosz), 1509, struck in Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Obverse: Pursuer turned left; in the rim between pearl borders an inscription: + COIN:SIGI, VNDI, 9. Reverse: Polish crowned eagle; in the rim between pearl borders an inscription: + MGANI:DVCIS:, VANI, 1509. Features emblems: eagle and Pursuer; associated with the Jagiellon dynasty.
