Prussian grosz, Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland; reign 1506–1548). Silver coin (grosz), 1534, struck in Torun, Poland. Obverse: crowned male bust in profile facing right; in rim between pearl borders an inscription: 'IS. I. REX. PO. DO. TOCI. PRVSS' (variant). Reverse: the Eagle of Royal Prussia; in rim between pearl borders the inscription: 'GR. COMV. TERR. PRVSSIE. 1534'. Iconography: royal busts, coats of arms, eagles.
