Sestertius of Marcus Aurelius (121–180; Roman emperor 161–180), issuer. Obverse: Head of Marcus Aurelius with laurel wreath facing right, all around. Reverse: Felicitas stands frontally, head turned to the left, holding a caduceus in her right hand and a long scepter in her left; inscription ITAS AVG IMP VIIII COS III, mint mark -C in the fields. Date: 177–178. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin: diameter 29.5–30.0 mm, weight 21.01 g, axis 0°.
