Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland; 1506–1548). Silver coin (half-grosz), 1519. Obverse: Pogon (Lithuanian charging knight) turned left; in rim between pearl-shaped borders an inscription and date 'TA:SIGISMI:1519'. Reverse: Polish crowned eagle; in rim between pearl-shaped borders an inscription with legend elements 'AG, I:DVC, A, IE, 1519'. Associated with the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Poland; Jagiellon dynasty; emblems: Eagle and Pogon.
