Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland; 1506–1548). Silver coin (half-grosz), 1517. Obverse: Pogon (Lithuanian mounted knight) turned left; rim between pearl borders with inscription 'NETA VNDI 1' (as read). Reverse: Crowned Polish Eagle; rim between pearl borders with inscription '+ MAG VCIS LI IE 1517'. Jagiellon dynasty emblematic motifs; emblems include eagle and Pogon. Minted in Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Poland–Lithuania).
