Denarius, posthumous issue for Faustina the Elder (98–141; Roman empress 138–141). Issuer: Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161). Obverse: Bust of Faustina I in drapery facing right, inscription 'A - FA' all around. Reverse: Juno veiled and seated facing right, holding a scepter in her left hand, her right hand on the back of the seat, inscription 'AV, A' around. After 141 CE, Roman Empire. Coin: silver, diameter 17.5–18.0 mm, weight 2.83 g, axis 180°.
