Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland, r. 1506–1548). Silver coin (half-grosz), 1511, struck in Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Obverse: Pursuer (Pogrim) turned left; in the rim between pearled borders an inscription: + :SIGISMV, DI:15, 1. Reverse: Polish crowned eagle; in the rim between pearled borders an inscription: + MAGNI:DVCIS:LITVA, E:, 1511. Features emblems: eagle and Pursuer; associated with the Jagiellon dynasty.
