Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland; reign 1506–1548). Copper or billon coin (half-grosz), dated 1508–1529. Obverse: Pogon (Lithuanian horseman) turned left; rim with pearl-shaped borders and inscription '+ MO ETA MVN' (inscription rendered as given). Reverse: crowned Polish eagle; rim with pearl-shaped borders and inscription ':DVCIS:LITVANIE:'. Style: early 16th-century Jagiellon coinage; motifs/emblems include Pogon and Eagle. Minted in Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Poland–Lithuania.
