Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland; 1506–1548). Silver coin (half-grosz), ca. 1508–1529. Obverse: Pogon (Lithuanian mounted knight) turned left; rim between pearl-shaped borders with inscription + MOETA MVN. Reverse: Crowned Polish eagle; rim between pearl-shaped borders with inscription DVCIS LITVANIE. Minted in Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania; Jagiellon dynasty, emblems: Pogon and Eagle.
