Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland; 1506–1548). Obverse: Pogon (Chasing Knight) turned left; in the rim between pearl-shaped borders an inscription: NETA:SIGISMVNDI. Reverse: crowned Polish Eagle; in the rim between pearl-shaped borders an inscription: AGNI:DV:LITVA. Date: 1508–1529. Materials/style: Polish–Lithuanian coin, Jagiellon dynasty emblems (eagles, Pogon). Place: Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
