Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (king of Poland; 1506–1548). Silver coin (half-grosz), 1527, struck in Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Obverse: Pursuer (Pogonia) turned left; in rim between pearl borders inscription '+ ONETA:SIGISMVNDI:15 7'. Reverse: Crowned Polish Eagle; in rim between pearl borders inscription 'MAG I:DVCIS:LITVA I 1527'. Jagiellon dynasty; motifs: eagles and heraldic Pursuer.
