Denarius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161). Obverse: Head of Antoninus Pius in a laurel wreath facing right, inscription TONINVS PIVS PP TR P XVI. Reverse: Fortuna standing right; in her right hand she holds a long rudder leaning against a globe, in her left hand a horn of plenty, inscription CONCORDIA? CO IIII (as minted). Iconography: personifications, Fortuna; horns of plenty, rudders. Date: 152–153. Place: Rome, Roman Empire. Medium: silver coin (denarius). Dimensions: diameter 18.0–19.0 mm, weight 2.80 g, axis 0 degrees.
