Denarius, Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161), issuer. Obverse: Head of Antoninus Pius in a laurel wreath facing right, inscription 'ANTONINVS AVG PI - VS PP TR P, I' all around. Reverse: Fortuna standing right; in her right hand she holds a long rudder leaning against a globe, in her left hand she holds a horn of plenty, inscription 'COS - III' all around. Iconography: personifications, Fortuna, horns of plenty, rudders. Date: 152–153 CE. Culture: Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Place: Rome. Object type: coin (denarius). Dimensions/weight: diameter 17.5 mm, weight 3.40 g, axis 180 degrees.
