Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland; 1506–1548). Silver coin (half-grosz), dated 1523. Obverse: Pogon (Lithuanian knight) turned left; inscription in rim between pearly borders reads 'TA:SIG, I:15Z3'. Reverse: crowned Polish eagle; inscription in rim between pearly borders reads 'GNI:DVCI, LITVAN, 1523'. Emblems: eagle and Pogon; belongs to Jagiellon dynasty; minted in Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Poland.
