Justyn Karol Schröder (master of the Mitawa mint 1763–1764); publisher Graefenstein, GZ (fl. 1761). Ernest Jan Biron (Duke of Courland and Semigallia; pictured; 1690–1772; duke 1763–1769). Iconography: coats of arms, White Eagle, Pogon, princely/ruler's busts. Obverse: in the border a male bust in armour girded with a sash and wearing a wig, turned to the right, divided by an inscription in the rim; on the right shoulder the letter G and inscription D.G.ERNEST.IOH.IN.LIV.CVRL.&. Reverse: under a crown mitre separating the inscription in the rim two coat-of-arms shields with the Eagle and the Chaser; below the value number VI under which the letters .ICS; in the rim MON.ARGENT.DVC:CVRLAND.1764. Date: 1764. Place: Duchy of Courland and Semigallia, Mitawa. Object: coin, weight 2.37 g.
