Obverse: in the border, a male bust in armor girded with a sash and wearing a wig, turned to the right, dividing the rim inscription; crowned mitre separating the rim inscription; bust of Ernest Jan Biron (Duke of Courland and Semigallia; 1690–1772). Reverse: value numeral 3 with letters ICS beneath; two coats of arms showing the White Eagle and Pogon (Chaser) on heraldic shields; coats of arms and inscriptions in rim MON. AR. CVRLAND. 1764.
