Reverse: eagle with the duchy's coat of arms (two Courland lions and two Semigallian stags alternately); rim inscription beginning with a rosette SOLIDVS.CVRLANDIAE. Maker/subject: Frederick Casimir Kettler (Duke of Courland and Semigallia, 1650–1698). Style: portrait busts/portraits in parade armor, princely iconography. Place: Mitawa (Mitau).
