Bronze coin from Pantikapaion depicting the Dioscuri caps (iconographic) and a Satyr's head (iconographic); motifs include Black Sea and cornucopia (iconographic). Obverse: head of a bearded Satyr in an ivy wreath facing left. Reverse: cornucopia, Dioscuri caps topped with stars on the sides, inscription below them. Satyr (mythology); Dioscuri (mythology). 4th quarter of the 2nd century BC, Cimmerian Bosporus, Pantikapaion. Coin; weight 3.92 g; diameters 16.8 mm and 16.2 mm. Maker: Terlecki, Ignatius (1860–1916).
