Szelag forgery from the period; forgeries. Eagles; cross (iconographic). Frederick William I Hohenzollern (Great Elector of Brandenburg; Prince of Prussia; 1620–1688). Hohenzollern (coat of arms). Obverse: Prussian eagle with a monogram on its chest composed of the letters IC; on the rim, between the pearl borders, an inscription beginning with a princely mitre, 'ID.WILH.MAR.BR.SRI'. Reverse: monogram composed of the letters FW separating the inner border; on the rim an inscription beginning with a cross, divided by the Hohenzollern coat of arms, '+SOLIDUS.PR - USSIAE.1653'. Date: 1653. Place: Ducal Prussia (1525–1701); (for the original) Königsberg. Object: coin, contemporary counterfeit. Dimensions: diameter 15.4 mm; weight 0.59 g; axis 0°.
