Denarius of Commodus (reigned 177–192 CE), Roman Empire, struck 190–191 CE. Obverse: laureate, draped, cuirassed imperial bust of Commodus right; legend OMM ANT P EL AVG BR (partially legible). Reverse: Concordia standing left, holding a patera in her raised right hand and a scepter in her left; legend CONC COM RP XVI COS VI (hardly legible). Hoard find from Golub indicated; associated iconography: busts, patera, sceptre. Material: silver coin; weight 2.75 g.
