Obv. A bust in armor turned right, girded with a sash. A sceptre in his right hand. In front of the bust, on the right side in the coin field, a helmet with a plume. Below the date numeral I, ZI. The figure's head divides the inner border. On the rim between the borders, an inscription ending with a heart: .GEORG:WILHELMVSV., GMZBRAN. Rev. Under the ducal mitre, a five-field coat of arms shield with ornaments. On the rim between the borders an inscription divided by a mitre and ending with a heart: DHRRERT.CVCHVR., .IPZGC.BH, 1621. Subject: George William Hohenzollern (Elector of Brandenburg; Duke of Prussia; 1620–1640). Place and date: Ducal Prussia, Königsberg, 1621. Object: coin; diameter 29.7 mm; weight 7.62 g; axis 120 degrees. Materials/style: coats of arms, male bust in armor, ducal mitre.
