One-and-a-half. Maker: Ernest Pfahler. Department of Coins of Lands Associated with Poland. George William of Hohenzollern (Elector of Brandenburg; Duke of Prussia; 1620–1640). Iconography: cross; orb of rule; coats of arms. Obverse: under the ducal mitre, a five-field heraldic shield; below in the shield the value numeral 3. In the rim between the borders, an inscription separated by the mitre and the value numeral: GE.WI.MAR. - BR.SRIEL. Reverse: royal orb with a cross whose arms terminate in finials; in the lower part of the orb the value numerals 24; on the sides of the cross, date numerals 2-4. In the rim between the borders an inscription divided by a cross: .MONE.NOVA.DVC.PRVS.-, 1624. Place/date: Ducal Prussia (1525–1701), Königsberg, 1624. Object: coin.
