Obverse: male bust in armour in profile turned to the right, separating the inner double border (inner continuous, outer pearly); short hair, beard with sideburns; in the rim an inscription beginning with the ornament: G:FRID:D:G:M:BR:DVX.PRVSSIAE with circles between words, outer continuous border. Reverse: in the continuous border an inscription in seven lines: III /GROSS:AR:/:TRIPLEX /GEORG.FRID/DVC:PRVSS:/ I588; denomination and date between rosettes; after the word TRIPLEX a rosette; below the inscription the mint mark. 1588.
