In the rim an inscription beginning with the ornament: G:FRID:D:G:M:BR:DVX.PRVSSIAE, words separated by circles; outer continuous border. Reverse: in the continuous border an inscription in seven lines: III /GROSS:AR:/TRIPLEX./GEORG.FRID:/DVC:PRVSS:/ I590, denomination and date between rosettes, below the inscription the mint mark. 1590. Ducal Prussia (1525–1701), Königsberg. Coin; diameter 22.9 mm; weight 2.53 g; axis 0°.
