Trojak, Gulden, Pawel, publisher. Jerzy Fryderyk (Duke of Karniów; 1539–1603) — iconography: rosettes, male busts in armour. Obverse: male bust in armour in profile turned to the right, separating the inner double border (inner continuous, outer pearly); short hair, beard with sideburns. In the rim an inscription beginning with an ornament: G:FRID:D:G:M:BR:DVX.PRVSSIAE with circles between words. Reverse: in the continuous border an inscription in seven lines: III / GROSS:AR:/ TRIPLEX./ GEORG.FRID:/ DVC:PRVSS:/ I588; denomination and date between rosettes, below the inscription the mint mark. 1588. Ducal Prussia (1525–1701), Königsberg. Coin; diameter 22.0 mm; weight 2.47 g; axis 0°.
