Obverse: Prussian eagle, on its chest the crowned letter S; rim inscription beginning with a trefoil ALBER*D*G*MAR*BRAN*DVX*PRVSS between pearl-shaped borders. Reverse: male bust in armor in profile to the right; short hair, long beard with sideburns; Hohenzollern shield and rim inscription beginning with *IVSTVS*EX*FIDE*VIVIT*I543*; iconography includes eagles, male busts in armor, Hohenzollern coat of arms.
