Albrecht Hohenzollern (Prince of Prussia; 1490–1568) — coin, 1534, Königsberg, Ducal Prussia (1525–1701). Obverse: Aw. Prussian eagle with on its breast the crowned letter S; along the rim between pearly borders an inscription beginning with a rosette, 'ALBER*D*G*MAR*BRAN*DVX, PRVS Rw.' Reverse: male bust in armour, profile turned right, short hair, beard with sideburns; along the rim between pearly borders an inscription beginning with the Hohenzollern coat of arms, '*IVSTV, X*FIDE*VIVIT*I534*'. Hoard from the village of Wsola (numism). Diameter 22.7 mm; weight 1.72 g; axis 290°. Makers/publishers noted: Grosz; Straub (Strawb), Heinrich; Wille, Albrecht (fl. 1520–?); Decjusz, Jost Ludwik (fl. 1528–1535). Iconography: eagles, Hohenzollern coat of arms, rosettes, male busts in armour.
