Denarius (bracteate). One-sided coin depicting a gate topped with a cross whose arms end in spheres; one sphere at each corner of the gate; a smaller sphere between the cross and the corner spheres. Under the arched vault of the gate, a sphere. Ca. 1257/1258–ca. 1267/1268. State of the Teutonic Order (1226–1525). Diameter 17.5 mm; weight 0.21 g.
