Denarius - bracteate, Gate I (iconographic). Maker: Anthony Richard (1841–1894). Depicts a gate with four rectangular and two triangular openings topped with a lily. At the corners of the gate are balls; between the lily and the corner balls is a smaller ball. Under the arched vault of the gate is a six-pointed star. Date: ca. 1257/1258–ca. 1267/1268. Issued by the State of the Teutonic Order (1226–1525). Coin (one-sided). Diameter 18.4 mm; weight 0.26 g.
