Denarius (bracteate). One-sided coin depicting a triangular shield with a cross whose arms reach the shield's edge. On the shield, extending from the arms of the cross, is a single ball; three balls appear on both sides of the shield and above it. Iconography includes shield with cross I, shields, balls, triangular shield. Teutonic Knights (Order). ca. 1307/1308–ca. 1317/1318. Diameter 15.7 mm; weight 0.23 g.
