Gold crown, Stanislaw August Poniatowski (King of Poland; 1732–1798), 1794. Coin (Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth), diameter 26.1–26.5 mm, weight 5.49 g. Obverse: Head of Stanislaw August, inscription around rim: 'STANISLAUS AUG.DGREX POL.MDL'. Reverse: Under a crown, a multi-field coat of arms with Poland (Eagle), Lithuania (Pogon) and the Poniatowski family (Ciolek); date at sides '17-94'; at bottom letters 'MV' and '4.GR.'; around it an inscription divided by a crown: '84½ EX MARCA-PURA COLON:' Edge obliquely fluted.
