sestertius of Faustina the Younger (ca. 130–176; Roman empress 161–176), dated 147–161. Obverse: bust of Faustina II in drapery facing right, inscription FAVSTINAE AVG - PII AVG FIL. Reverse: Venus stands frontally, turns her head left, holds an apple in her outstretched right hand and a rudder in her left hand around which a dolphin is wrapped, inscription V E - NV - S, control letters SC in the fields. Roman coin; diameter ~29.5–30.5 mm, weight 24.05 g, axis 345°.
