Fragment of a votive figure of a man. The fragment depicts a standing man dressed in a tutulus and himation. The outer edge of the himation is framed by an ornament in the form of semicircular serrated edges. The torso is flattened, the front part is carefully detailed, while the back is flat. The right arm, bent at the elbow, rests on the chest. The right hand is lowered down, close to the torso, the hand clenched into a fist. The face is oval, elongated. The chin is small, the lips are thin, and the nose is long and aquiline. The eyes are slanted and prominent, the eyebrows are arched, and the forehead is low. Conical headdress. Proto-Cypriot Style II, circa 600–480 BC. Cyprus; sculpture. Height 28 cm, width 14 cm.
