Appliqué depicting a woman riding a horse, author reclaimed, reclaimed (Silesia), 5th century, Melos (Greece), terracotta. 'Relief from Melos' — the plaque depicts a young woman riding a ram, of which only the torso with the heads of two horses glued on has survived. The woman is dressed in a tight-fitting tunic, a cloak draped over her back, and a headdress. 460–450 BC, Melos (Greece), bas-relief, height 13.5 cm, width 13.5 cm, weight 0.09 kg.
