The wardrobe-like structure is vertically divided into three zones in a standing-rectangle format, the central zone higher by about 2/5. Scenes set against landscape with buildings and framed by richly fragmented tracery canopies; central zone background shows three large Gothic windows suggesting a church chancel. A tracery-decorated strip runs along the full width as a plinth. Sculptures gilded except for painted faces and hands; background architecture and tracery also gilded. Carved ca. 1500, Antwerp; altar; height 242.0 cm, width 288.0 cm, thickness 41.3 cm.
