The image depicts the Flight into Egypt: Mary with baby Jesus on a donkey, led by Joseph visible in the background. The composition is enclosed in a triple linear frame. The engraving was made by Father Stanislaw Czerski in Salanty, Samogitia. 'As a parish priest, with the help of a young assistant he adopted, he devoted himself to engraving images of saints with Samogitian inscriptions: for he only engraved these images for his parishioners, who, as inhabitants of pure Samogitia, know no other language. The above-mentioned plates, together with the press and all the tools for imprinting them, were transferred to Vilnius after his death.' 1822–1832, print, graphic matrix, graphic plate; height 7.6 cm, width 5.3 cm.
