Angels sargs. (Guardian Angel), Czerski, Stanislaw (1777–1833), graphic artist. Guardian Angel, devotional depiction: a Guardian Angel leading a child by the hand, with plants at their feet. Stipulated copperplate on the face and body. Engraving made by Father Stanislaw Czerski in Salanty in Samogitia. As a parish priest, with the help of a young assistant he engraved images of saints with Samogitian inscriptions for his parishioners. After his death the plates, press and tools were transferred to Vilnius. Date: 1822–1832. Graphic matrix/graphic plate. Height 9.9 cm, width 6.6 cm.
