The image shows Christ sleeping in a boat on a stormy lake, awakened by Saint Peter. The composition is enclosed in a triple linear frame. The engraving was made by Father Stanislaw Czerski in Salanty, Samogitia. As a parish priest, with the help of a young assistant he adopted, he devoted himself to engraving images of saints with Samogitian inscriptions: he engraved these images for his parishioners, who, as inhabitants of pure Samogitia, knew no other language.
