Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord near Plock, graphic artist Józef Ozieblowski (Vilnius; lithographic workshop; 1833–1863). Lithograph depicting the Church of St. Spas, built by architect Iaan and funded in 1120 by Princess Euphrosyne of Polotsk (St. Eufrozyna; secular name Przedslawa; 1102–1173), who was the first abbess of the monastery she founded, founded other monasteries, established schools, and died on pilgrimage to Jerusalem; canonized by the Orthodox Church in 1547. Likely an illustration in a historical work; Ozieblowski’s studio produced book illustrations and collaborated with Vilnius printing houses and published illustrations for works in other cities. Date ca. 1840–1850, Vilnius; graphic print, album; height 6.4 cm, width 11.7 cm.
