Subject: Abdalonymos (fl. 332–312 BC) receiving a crown; legendary/historical scene with Polish costumes, regalia, tributes, rulers' crowns. Medium/technique: etching with aquatint; graphic plate/print. Date: 1776. Notes on states/technique: Norblin etched fragments with aquatint in successive stages, strengthened the drawing with a stylus; at least three states are recorded with minor differences (changes include a woman by a well raising her hand in an early state, later smoothing marks, addition of halberd heads and refined tree leaves/trunks); the presented impression corresponds to the final state (state III). Physical details: height 9.0 cm, width 7.1 cm, thickness 0.1 cm.
