Obverse: bust of Chosroes II facing right, wearing a crown decorated with two wings, a crescent and a star; left a star, right within a crescent; beads around the neck and a central triangle composed of three dots; behind the crown two ribbons; double pearl rim; behind the rim at the bottom and on both sides a crescent with a star; Pahlavi inscription. Reverse: a burning altar; to its left the ruler/Arsaces standing straight with a sword in his hand; to the right a priest standing straight holding a sword; star at top left and crescent at right; signs/monograms on both sides; triple pearl border with four crescents with stars outside; Pahlavi inscription. 590–628, Persia; coin; weight 2.50 g.
