Obverse: bust of Hormizd IV facing right, wearing a crown decorated with a diadem; a star at right and a star in a crescent at left; triangle of three dots above the ear and as an earring; beads on the neck and a central triangle of three dots; pearl rim; symbol of the cosmos above the crown; crescents with stars at bottom and sides; Pahlavi inscription. Reverse: burning altar; to its left the ruler/Arsaces stands facing forward with a sword; to the right a priest stands facing forward holding a sword; star at upper left and crescent at upper right; signs/monograms at both sides; pearl rim; Pahlavi inscription.
