Obverse: bust of Khosroes I facing right wearing a crown on a diadem; on the right a crescent with a star, on the left a star; short curly beard, hair tied back in a lock; beads on the neck with a central group of three triangular beads, plus a second long chain; earring of three triangular beads; outside the rim three crescents; Pahlavi legend. Reverse: burning fire altar; to its left the ruler facing forward holding a sword, to its right a priest facing forward holding a sword; star at top left, crescent at top right, signs/monograms on both sides; pearl rim; Pahlavi legend.
