Obverse: bust of Khosroes I facing right; wearing a crown on a diadem, a crescent with a star to the right and a star to the left; short curly beard, hair tied back in a lock; beads on the neck (central one three triangular beads) and a second long chain around the neck; earring of three triangular beads; three crescents outside the rim; Pahlavi legend. Reverse: fire altar; left of altar the ruler stands facing forward with a sword in his hand; right of altar a priest stands facing forward holding a sword; star at top left, crescent at top right; signs/monograms on both sides; pearl rim; Pahlavi legend.
