Obverse: bust of Khosroes I facing right; crown topped with a korymbos, crescent with a star at right, a star at left; short curly beard, hair tied back in a lock; beads on his neck (central one three triangular beads), an additional long chain, earring of three triangular beads; outside the rim three crescents; Pahlavi legend. Reverse: fire altar; at left the ruler facing forward holding a sword, at right a priest facing forward holding a sword; top left a star, top right a crescent, signs/monograms on both sides; pearl rim; Pahlavi legend.
