Drachma of Khosroes II Anoshirvan (ruler of Persia; 531–579). Obverse: bust of Khosroes I facing right; crown on a diadem, right crescent with a star, left star; short curly beard, hair tied back in a lock; beads on the neck with central three triangular beads, an additional long chain around the neck, earring of three triangular beads; outside the rim three crescents; Pahlavi legend. Reverse: fire altar; to its left the ruler stands facing forward holding a barsom, to its right a priest stands facing forward holding a barsom; top left a star, top right a crescent; signs/monograms on both sides; pearl border; Pahlavi legend.
