Sestertius of Hadrian (76–138; Roman emperor 117–138). Obverse: head of Hadrian in laurel wreath facing right; rim inscription IANVSAVG. Reverse: Pietas standing frontally, head turned left, in a long robe, praying to the altar in front of her; behind her, facing right, stands a stork; rim inscription erased; letters SC on both sides of the figure. Date: 125–128, Rome, Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Coin; weight 23.75 g.
