Sestertius of Trajan (r. 98–117). Obverse: head of Trajan in laurel wreath facing right; rim inscription illegible. Reverse: Felicitas (personification) standing left in a long robe, holding a caduceus downwards in his right hand and a horn of plenty in his left, with the letters SC on either side of the horn; rim inscription illegible. Coin notable for six large, strongly concave holes in a straight line to the right of the emperor on the obverse and six similar holes arranged in a semicircle to the left of Felicitas on the reverse. 180-degree axis. Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Rome. Coin; weight 15.75 g.
