Silver coin (thaler), diameter ca. 40.5–40.9 mm, weight 27.37 g. Obverse: Head of Stanislaw August turned right, around the inscription divided at the bottom: STANISLAUS AUGUSTUS D G REX POLON. MD LITUAN. — pearl border. Reverse: Under a crown, decorated with an oak and laurel branch, a five-field coat of arms with the coats of arms of Poland (Orzel), Lithuania (Pogon) and the Poniatowski coat of arms (Ciolek); on the sash the Order of the White Eagle; letters E. — B. on the sides; around the inscription divided twice: 10 7/16 EX MARCA PURA — 1788 — pearl border. Edge inscription: FIDEI • PUBLIC • E • PIGNUS • 1788. Style/iconography: portrait of ruler, multi-field coats of arms, coats of arms under a crown, Order of the White Eagle. Function: crown coin.
