Ducat, Frederick Augustus I (Elector of Saxony; 1694–1733), Frederick Augustus (Elector and King of Saxony; Duke of Warsaw; 1750–1827). Obverse: half-length portrait of the king in curls/a wig with hair falling over his shoulders, in a royal mantle, facing right, with a sword in his right hand raised upwards; inscription on the rim divided by a globus cruciger: FRID.AUGUST.DGDUX.SAXON.ICMAETW. Reverse: lion to left, standing on hind legs, wearing a crown, holding a sword raised upwards in its right paw and dividing the rim inscription; left paw on a coat of arms and a crown. Coat of arms includes the arms of Saxony. Under the lion, in the line of the rim inscription, two crossed arrows with the letters I - K on their sides. Rim inscription: SAC.ROM.IMPER.ARCHIM.ET.ELECT.1696. Coin (Ducat), diameter ~23.3–23.6 mm, weight 3.46 g.
